La Serena
This is my friend Saskia, she's an exchange student from Germany, studying law (derecho) like me. Her and I got to La Serena one day before our other friends arrived. In the background you can see a nice little church. The hostel we stayed at was right next to it. It was called 'Hostal Gladys'. It was funny because we ended up eating at a great little restaurant on beach which was called 'Restaurante Gladys'. La Serena is very pretty. To the right of the above scene is the 'Plaza de Armas'. Basically every city in Chile has a 'Plaza de Armas', which means 'Arms Plaza'. Or it could be 'Weapons Plaza', but I'm pretty sure it's 'Arms'.
